Andrew’s walk to the Greenway Estate commenced at Churston library and 26 walkers turned up on this fine, sunny, and warm day.
This is one of our regular walks but unusually this time, Andrew set off in the anti clockwise direction. We dropped down into Galmpton, passed the Creek and then up again, traversing the woods and enjoyed a second refreshment break on the famous log overlooking the Dart.
From here we dropped down to Lupton House where we had lunch under the shade of the trees. Passing through Lupton we crossed the road to Churston and turned left immediately after the railway bridge, to take the path bisecting the golf course back to Broadsands.
Here some of the party departed, while the rest of us climbed the hill back to our starting point.
A lovely walk, through lovely countryside on a lovely day. What more can anybody want?
