This interesting talk will take place on Thursday 7th November at Torquay Museum.
John Lowe, Author of ‘The Boys’ will tell the story of the Hampden Bomber that crashed on Hameldown in WW2, killing all the young crewmen on board.
The cost is £4 on the door of £10 for the Museum Café Special Deal.
It fits nicely with our Club Remembrance Walk, led by Hilary on 10th November from Hound Tor Car Park at 9am, to the site of the crash for the 11 o’clock service, John Lowe is usually there too. We will then walk on through Widecombe, around 9 miles in total.
The Museum are offering a great meal deal of home-made soup and a roll, tea/coffee and cake for just £10 including entry to the talk. Café opens at 10am.
