Sixteen of us bobbed in and out of this walk along the banks of the river Dart.
On arrival, we found a brass band playing Christmas carols that was a welcome start to our walk. We joined the riverside at the old bridge in Totnes and headed towards Dartington Estate. We continued along the river through Dartington deer park.
The eagle eyed will spot the herd of deer on the hill in the photo. After going through the woods, we lunched at Staverton station where we were lucky enough to see the famous festive couple! After lunch, we made our way back towards Darting Cider Press for a gentle stroll back to the start point.
