This was a walk with options for people to join and leave as they liked. 32 started from The Princess Theatre.
Rod & Maggie were leading and it was a fine day with spells of sunshine interrupted with only one shower, as we took the Torquay Road to eventually reach Goodrington.
Our route took us past the old gasworks site, where we turned left into the park to pick up the coast path to Preston, where we paused for a comfort break.
We then continued along Paignton sea front to the harbour, across Roundham and down to Goodrington where we stopped for a drinks break.
The next stage followed the railway, over Sugar Loaf and down to Broadsands, for our lunch. There was much activity at Broadsands, largely dog walkers and three ladies with owls who attracted a great deal of attention from everyone.
After lunch we took the inland route along the farm track but instead of crossing the golf course we continued straight ahead along the path to Churston. Here we turned left and walked along the road before picking up the usual route through the village into America Lane.
At the end of the lane we crossed the field to finally reach our destination of Brixham.
The weather was ideal for walking this picturesque part of the coast path through the Bay.
