Eleven walkers set off in two groups from Kingswear, on this bright, sunny Saturday. It was lovely and warm out of the breeze but chilly on exposed spots. Gale force at one point!!
The sea sparkled and the stiff wind stirred up a frothy white foam, crashing onto the jagged, grey rocks. Having crossed the river Dart, we headed for Dartmouth castle. From there we took the path towards coastguard cottages where the two groups met up.
The circular walk included the coastal path to Little Dartmouth and then on to the water tower where we stopped for lunch. Our return was via Jawbone Hill, which provided stunning views of the College and Dartmouth town. A great time was had by all, 7 miles completed on the first Club walk after lockdown.
