Helen’s Cockington Circular – Saturday 25th September

A group of 18 walkers (including a new male member) convened at the Grand Hotel for Helen’s usual walk around the lanes and footpaths of Cockington,  via Scadson Woods.
Howard very kindly agreed to take the photographs today.

There is a bit of road walking at the beginning of the walk but not too much.  As always we enjoyed some stunning views along the way and the weather remained dry.  Most had lunch outside Cockington Court, with one member enjoying a pint of cider in the Drum.  At this stage two members had already left the walk whilst another two decided to join us at Cockington Court for the remainder.

After lunch we proceeded to walk around the Cockington lakes before joining the path along the water meadows and then we made our way along Hennapyn Road and back to the Grand Hotel where the walk began.    Distance 6 miles (more or less)….
