A fabulous evening of fun was had on Friday, as 40 of us partied the night away.

After our welcome drinks, we enjoyed a very tasty three course meal. Many thanks to the hotel for such excellent service. The friendly, young staff worked efficiently to serve us all quickly. A very talented magician entertained us while we were settling at our tables. I have no idea how a Queen of Hearts changed into an Ace of Spades in front of my eyes!!

Following the meal, the disco started and the dance floor was soon packed with energetic ramblers. Bernie should surely win the award for the most dances danced as she barely left the floor all night. Well done, Bernie!



The best dancer awards must surely go to Mandy and Denise who rocked the dance floor. The secret talent award must go to Mike. Who knew that you had such hidden moves, Mike!

The best dressed award goes to Phil who looked very dapper in his Tux.

The best effort award must go to Christine who put her all into leading the Boat Song. Hope your back soon recovered Christine.

As many of us stayed in the hotel, we were also able to enjoy the super swimming pool and spa facilities. It was lovely to share a relaxing breakfast with so many friends the next day.

Many thanks to Denise and Gwen for organising this evening for us. We all really enjoyed ourselves and we hope you can repeat this event next year!!
