NotesMostly lanes. Some road walking. The walk takes us from Polsloe Bridge Station to Exeter Central station. Buy return ticket to Polsloe Bridge. There is a possibility of leaving the walk at Exeter St. Davids Station 4 m. We then do some road walking. Very busy road but wide pavement.. We then walk along the river to Exeter Quay and then on to Exeter Central Station. Toilets at either Paignton or Torquay station before the walk. Next toilets Exeter Quay. Bring packed lunch. Some parts muddy. More so after rain. One steep climb.

NotesAdam S will be assisted by Denise M. A good level of fitness is required. Walking over uneven ground in places and highly likely to be wet under foot through the fields around Southwood and Northwood Farms. Walking to Heltor Rocks from the start is a considerable ascent. Steps in poor condition by stile into field on the way to Southwood Farm. Walking boots essential wear long trousers as footpaths are overgrown this time of year . Bring walking poles if you have got them.

NotesThe walk is Moderate Plus. This is a full day excursion walk. 8.55 Bus 80 from Paignton to Morley Arms (the stop after Morrisons, Plympton) then Bus 2 to Mountbatten Pier. Return to Paignton approximately 6.45 pm. Free parking available at Mount Batten for those travelling by car. The walk takes in a tidal creek and a nature reserve and returns along the coastal path with lots of historical interest and great views over Plymouth Sound and across to Cornwall. It includes one steady climb and steep ascents and descents via steps on the coastal path section. Packed lunch required and there will be a cafe/toilet stop towards the end of the walk.

NotesNorsworthy Bridge near Burrator Reservoir. The route includes various Dartmoor stone circles. Ditsworthy House historic landmark and Hartor Open moorland walking. Therefore decent walking boots essential. High possibility of being wet underfoot and walking poles recommended.
