NotesTHE GRADE OF THE WALK IS MEDIUM PLUS. Part of the route is along the South West Coast Path Extra care needed as some of the paths are uneven. Various ascents and descents along with walking up and down steps. WALK INCLUDES CROSSING THE MAIN ROAD TWICE. Descent quality walking boots essential and bring walking poles if you have them.

NotesEasy flat start on roads. Following the John Musgrave trail through Scadson woods plantation. One very steep although short slope to navigate. Some busy roadside walking to Broomhill Meadows for lunch. After it’s down hill to Preston via Round hill wood, Eastdown Plantation and Preston Park. Extra care needed on one narrow bridge to navigate. Finish near Preston Baptist Church on Torbay Road for the number 12 or 22 buses. Some sun, some woodland one toilet stop.

NotesA moderate plus walk . Rather steep descent to the River Lemon from East Ogwell on a single track road. Crossing of the busy Totnes to Newton Abbot Road both ways. Follow the leaders instructions. Decent walking boots are essential. Mixture of fields paths and road walking.
